Christy Hubbard, MS, NCC, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Christy began practicing in 2005 as a parenting and crisis pregnancy counselor. She has many years of experience working with families that have young children and offers them a wide range of counseling and consulting services to serve as a guide through all of life’s most complex transitions. It is her hope to inspire women and their families during difficult seasons in their life by creating a healing presence to help guide individuals and families to a healthy path.
Using a strengths-based perspective Christy helps clients realize and utilize their unique gifts and live more fully. She sees individuals and couples and her primary areas of practice include women's issues, anxiety, new mothers, trauma and depression. She is certified in EMDR therapy for trauma and has extensive training focused on maternal mental health.
Christy wears many hats as a mother of two boys and a wife. Christy volunteers in children’s ministry at St. Paul Methodist. Also serves as a volunteer in Young Lives of Columbus. Christy’s previous experience as a Executive Director of Safe Kids Columbus. The organization is a non profit that prevent accidental injury by providing education and equipment to those in the Columbus area.
