The Light of Hope
The function of light is to see something clearly; Jesus’ teaching and His life is the True Light lighting up the path before us and the spaces we’re in. He is the Living Hope and during Advent, we reflect on the truth that our HOPE is anchored in Jesus, the LIGHT of the world, and not in our circumstances, no matter how dark the night. God’s past faithfulness motivates HOPE for the future and invites us to look forward by looking back at His faithfulness.
“Over the past year, the waters have been choppy and at times threatened to capsize the ship. God has been our anchor, steadying us through the fiercest storms. His faithfulness has also been our compass, guiding us toward calmer seas and brighter horizons. As we set our sights on the next year, His light continues to shine, illuminating a future filled with hope and promise.”
- Bobbi Starr, Executive Director for Micah’s Promise
“Lord, where do I put my hope?
My only hope is in YOU.”
Psalm 39:7
